Kölsch

Spring is just around the corner and this clean, crisp, delicately-balanced beer pairs perfectly with the season! Two important things to focus on when brewing a Kölsch are sanitation and yeast selection. Due to the light color and soft malt character, off flavors will have nowhere to hide. When choosing a yeast for this beer, we suggest sticking with the liquid strains: 

  • Imperial G03
  • White Labs 029
  • Wyeast 2565
